Hello, I’m Lee, the founder of Simply Breathe. I created this brand from a genuine love of creativity and the belief that small moments of self-care can make a meaningful difference in how we feel.
For me, painting has always been much more than a way to pass the time. It’s a chance to slow down, clear my mind and become completely absorbed in something creative. There is something almost magical about watching individual colours and shapes come together until you’ve created something beautiful with your own hands. I’ve always thought of it as a little therapy for the soul.
My journey into press-on nails came from a much more personal place. After developing a significant allergy to gel nail products, I had to give up something I really enjoyed. When I discovered press-on nails, I found a way to enjoy having pretty, polished nails again. I personally wear mine using adhesive tabs rather than nail glue, and that experience inspired me to explore press-ons more seriously.
This is simply my own experience, and everyone’s sensitivities are different. I would never suggest that press-on nails or adhesive tabs are suitable for every person with an allergy. For me, however, they opened the door to enjoying beautiful nails again and eventually became an important part of Simply Breathe.
These two very different forms of creativity inspired the heart of the brand: a place where art, beauty and everyday self-care come together.
